The Hazards of Being a Stitcher

Standard

We’ve all been there at least once.  Whether it’s quilting, general sewing or handwork stitching can be dangerous.  You would think that we would get a little smarter with all of the sharp tools that we work with on a daily basis.  Well I am not to proud to admit that I am not smart when it comes to this.  I have needles, pins, scissors, all over the place.

This is what happened today when I found my embroidery scissors between the couch cushions  by sitting on them.  Now I need to steel myself for the lecture I’m going to get from my husband when he gets home.  Ah well what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right?  🙂

About jsoosay

I have been working with all kinds of needlework projects for 10 years. I'm always looking for inspiration and new ideas to try out. Quilting is my favorite medium for my creativity but I like to take time for various other forms of needlework.
