Press and then Sew, and Sew, and Sew

Standard

That was my battle plan when I sat down this morning and told myself I wasn’t allowed to leave the sewing room until this quilt was done.  As usual it was easier said than done.  You would be surprised how much trouble two borders can be.

In the end I kept myself going and I achieved my goal to get this quilt sewn today.  I still think it is a gorgeous quilt even though it just about drove me crazy a couple of times.  Now back to the stash to find the next project.  I think I want to start something new and leave the ufo’s unfinished for a while now.

About jsoosay

I have been working with all kinds of needlework projects for 10 years. I'm always looking for inspiration and new ideas to try out. Quilting is my favorite medium for my creativity but I like to take time for various other forms of needlework.
